Abstract | ||
Tolerance is one of the most efficient instruments of leadership. This element has a very important impact on social relations. This is one of the reasons for the success of the prophets of God. This research has been done with the aim of deliberating the concept of tolerance and its role in organizational leadership, and also determining the tolerance indicators of the Islamic teachings and specially those of the precious Nahjolbalaghah. Data gathering method is based on the library in this study. In this research, subjects of tolerance were considered from the view points of the western thinkers and those of the Nahjolbalaghah , as well. Then, based on the findings of the first phase, the indicators of tolerance and the frequency of each item were deliberated in the Nahjolbalaghah. Our findings displayed that tolerance has a significant role in the leadership of the organization. In this study the indicators of tolerance are: admitting others’ faults, not to insult others, respecting freedom, urbanity and social justice, tolerating opposite ideas, non-executing force as far as possible, good behaving with others, not to treat coarcely , caring for justice, penetrating to the hearts via good temper and behavior, showing humility to others, and being patient and moderate. | ||
