Abstract | ||
The electrical energy has been proposed as the most basic needs of developmental countries. Regarding environmental issues, clean energy resources have recently been developed. Iran as a developing country with rich natural resources, considered electricity as a vital infrastructure needed to supply to the country and even neighbor countries. Hydroelectric power plants as a clean source of electrical energy can play a prominent role in the country's electricity requirements. But given the complexities associated with selecting a suitable place to build these structures, various factors must be considered. On the other hand, effective international diplomacy of Iran causes a lot of threats against Iran. This highlights the required use of passive defense in modern operating locating of critical facilities such as hydroelectric power plants. in this study using GIS in the context of TOPSIS multi-criteria analysis, examination of factors to locate a hydroelectric power plant in Isfahan has been accomplished. | ||
