Abstract
The Great Islamic Revolution of Iran celebrated the 40th anniversary of its victory while crossing the threshold of the fifth decade of its history. While its arrogant enemies made false assumptions about the revolution, its friends all over the world felt proud of its overcoming the challenges and making astonishing progresses. At such a turning point, the intelligent leader of the Islamic Revolution issued a “Declaration of the Second Step of the Revolution” to pursue this pure path, explaining the outstanding achievements of the last four decades, and giving basic recommendations for “a great Jihad to build a great Islamic Iran.” The “Declaration of the Second Step of the Revolution” is a renewed message addressing the Iranians, especially the youth, serving as a charter for the “second stage of self-construction, socialization and civilization” and marking a “new era in the history of the Islamic Republic.” This second step will make the revolution arrive at a closer distance to its great ideal, which is the creation of a new Islamic civilization and paving the way for the emergence of the Greatest Velayat
