Abstract | ||
With the spread of terrorist attacks and the existence of life and financial risks, increasing the resistance of structures such as nuclear power plants, transportation terminals, strategic bridges, chemical factories, fuel plants, military equipment and warehouses, important government buildings and crowded centers seems necessary. Fiber concretes have unique properties. Therefore, this material can be used to build structures resistant to impact loads. In recent years, experts have come to the conclusion that it is possible to improve mechanical strength, fatigue resistance and impact resistance by adding different fibers to concrete. The use of fibers causes safety and prevents the growth of cracks and increases the plasticity of concrete. In concrete, the demand for this material is still growing. One of the suitable ways to improve the plasticity and increase the resistance and safety of concrete structures against dynamic loads such as impact, earthquake and fatigue is to add fibers such as steel fibers and propylene fibers in concrete. | ||
