Abstract | ||
The issue of resistance was the intelligent strategy of the infallible Imams (a.s.) in confronting the tyranny of the era and it is more evident in the social life of Imam Kazim (a.s.). they either had to adopt a policy of submission and compromise with the tyrants and abandon religious values, or they had to resist with dignity the imposition of the enemy's demands. The pages of Islamic history bear witness to their resistance against the caliphs of the Abbasid Caliphate, enduring all hardships and hardships.Basically, the pages of history are almost empty of reports of a safe and comfortable life, free from anxiety, for the Imams (peace be upon them). Thus, the purpose of this research is to explain and formulate Imam Kazim's (peace be upon him) resistance strategy against such approaches that were being implemented by the government of that time. Through a descriptive-analytical research conducted through the study of the life of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), it was determined that his resistance was formed in two axes: positive and negative resistance, in accordance with the political conditions of the society. Positive resistance was more in the form of scientific resistance, expressing the illegitimacy of the government, influencing the ruling apparatus, renewing the memory of Sayyid al-Shohada (peace be upon him) as a symbol of resistance, economic resistance, cultural confrontation, and supporting revolutionary movements indirectly. Their negative resistance was also mainly planned and established in two economic and political axes in the form of discrediting the tyrannical rule of the time and in the orbit of strategies that challenged the system of domination. Although their resistance lacked the convulsiveness of reckless and undisguised activities, it never took on a partisan or symbolic tone and was extremely effective in undermining the rule of the wicked rulers. | ||
