Abstract | ||
This study is aimed at designing and explaining the organizational wisdom model and identifying the important components of the measurement of organizational wisdom in educational organizations in Yemen. This is a qualitative applied research using Delphi method performed in different stages. First, the dimensions and indicators of measuring organizational wisdom were identified by reviewing the literature on organization wisdom through Delphi method (23 experts). In the next step, using a new analytic methodology called Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM), the relationship between dimensions and the measurement of organizational wisdom were identified and were integrated into the model and the final model was designed. The results indicated that the model of the measurement of organizational wisdom contains eleven components at five levels. Elements of strategic thinking and organizational structure are present at the first level indicating high impact of these two variables in the system signifying the great importance of these two indicators in this system. In the second level, there are the components of virtue and ethics, learning and education, and strategic goals having direct relation with the first level. The components of decision making, leadership, and HR management occupy the third level. The fourth level is devoted to the components of cooperation and pragmatism. There are innovation and creativity, which have direct impact on high levels, at the lowest level. | ||
