| Analyzing the identity challenges of the Iranian family in transition and presenting Quranic solutions Abstract This research, using an interpretive approach, explores the identity challenges of the Iranian family in transition and presents Quranic solutions. Through exploratory interviews based on purposive sampling and the principle of theoretical saturation with 50 young women in Qom city, and using discourse analysis technique, challenges were identified. Quranic solutions were presented based on the inductive qualitative content analysis technique. The conceptual framework in the first part is interpretive sociology, emphasizing Tajfel and Turner's social identity theory, and in the second part, it is Quranic exegeses. According to the findings, the "transitional" family, in contrast to traditional and modern families, faces identity challenges in structure, member relationships, functions, and problem-solving. These challenges include conflicts between individualism and collectivism, patriarchy and matriarchy, and tradition and modernity. In facing these challenges, the Quranic family, as an ideal model, includes principles such as gender justice, human dignity and centrality of religion, balance between rights and duties, women's economic independence, honoring family roles, and the primacy of the collective while maintaining individual authenticity, tranquility, affection, and preservation of family integrity. These principles have a bilateral and intertwined relationship in the family's structure, member relationships, functions, and prevention of family issues. Observing these principles in structure and relationships leads to the optimal realization of functions and, consequently, to the prevention of family problems. **Keywords:** Quranic family, transitional family, family identity challenges, Family discourse. | ||
