| Abstract | ||
| Organizational effectiveness is a complex issue relating to many factors. The beliefs and attitudes of the members of the organizations encompass relevant and influential factors of organizational effectiveness. Considering other factors affecting organizational effectiveness of sports managers in the armed forces can play a key role in developing the country's defense capability. This research is intended to investigate the causal relation between religious attitude and organizational effectiveness through the mediating role of organizational justice, organizational trust and job satisfaction in the sports managers of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This is a descriptive and causal research (following structural equation method). The samples included 234 people selected by stratified random sampling. In the measurement of the research variables, Glock and Stark religious attitude questionnaire was employed for testing religious attitude, Hesso’s (2002) organizational effectiveness questionnaire for testing organizational effectiveness, Niehoff and Morman’s organizational justice questionnaire for testing organizational justice, Alonen’s organizational trust questionnaire for testing organizational trust, and Occupational Minnesota questionnaire (MSQ) for testing job satisfaction. Statistical results indicated that the mediating effect of justice and organizational trust was positive and direct, and the increase in justice and organizational trust, results in the increase of religious attitude toward organizational effectiveness. However, job satisfaction cannot play a role as a mediating factor in the relation between religious attitude and organizational effectiveness. Reenforcing religious beliefs and attitudes can help develop justice and trust in organizations. These positive and direct reinforcements can lead to increased effectiveness in the organization. | ||
