Abstract
Policy-making takes place in the context of economic, political and social environment and is affected by it and also affects it. The question raised in the research is, which part of the negative characteristics of the country's economic environment, what negative effects have on the field of public policy? so the goal is set; examining and addressing the influential disadvantages of the economic environment on the country's policy arena from a pathological perspective. In this regard, a qualitative method based on the library approach and collecting materials and taking notes from various books and articles, has been used to explain this effect and each of the environmental disadvantages and related damage in policy has been expressed correspondingly. The article is based on the premise that the characteristics of the country's economic environment, which relies on revenues from oil revenue, as an independent variable; affects the field of public policy of the country as a dependent variable. The research findings confirm the hypothesis that public policy is influenced by the disadvantages of the economic environment. The results show that many of the disadvantages of these disadvantages in the economic environment are imposed on the country's public policy and prevents policy from achieving the desired goals.
