| Abstract | ||
| this study seeks to answer the main question: "What role does the UAV play in the strategy of countries (including the military of the Islamic Republic of Iran) by framing the teachings of Sun Tzo and Clausewitz?" It hypothesizes that "according to Sun Tzo's strategic teachings, the drone is a tool that has four strategic functions: a) It can alone or by intensification the effectiveness of other weapons and military equipment the enemy's weaknesses To attack; (B) Contribute, both alone and through the intensification of the effectiveness of other weapons and military equipment, to the achievement of the goal of "breaking the enemy’s resistance without fighting"; C) causes accurate knowledge of the enemy and obtaining sensitive information from him; And d) since the whole war is based on deception, it can achieve the deception of the enemy by conducting electronic warfare or play an important role in the deception of the enemy's radar and defense systems; Also, according to Clausewitz's strategic teachings, the UAV is a tool that has three strategic functions: a) it can attack the enemy's strengths and strengths alone or by intensifying the effectiveness of other weapons and military equipment; (B) plays a key role in achieving the goal of "destruction of the enemy’s forces", both alone and by increasing the effectiveness of other weapons and military equipment; And (c) facilitates the imposition of its own political will on the enemy through its excellent function. | ||
